Since 2009, we have been delivering bicycles to healthcare workers, needy kids, and schools in South Africa. Locally, we are donating to refugees to give them a start in their adopted home in San Diego, and to multiple orphanages in Baja California, Mexico.
In conjunction with Jewish Family Services (JFS) and the Alliance for African Assistance - San Diego, Do Something Now! donates bicycles to impoverished kids in our region, as well as Ukrainian and Afghan refugees to help them get a start in their new home in San Diego County.

Our organization's founder and president, Dr. Harve Meskin, talking about the work we do for people in impoverished places in the world. "These people have nothing, not even a family to go home to.
Do Something NOW!’s goal is to fund a minimum of two deliveries of bicycles per year to deserving groups who can benefit from them in these areas of need. The recipients include: Orphans of parents who died of AIDS-related illnesses; healthcare workers increasing their ability to serve patients from one person per day in the countryside to four in the same time frame; and schools whose bike gifts are based on student's GPA and attendance records.
